A contingent of police officers toured the City of David archeological site in Jerusalem on Wednesday. They also met with Rabbi Shlomo Aviner to discuss halachic and moral questions encountered during their work. Rabbi Aviner praised the police and said he was "excited to see a serious group of people serving in the Israeli Police sanctifying G-d's name."
The City of David, known in Hebrew as Ir David is located outside the walls of the Old City and contains some of the oldest remains of ancient Jerusalem ever uncovered. For a photo essay of the trip visit the Arutz Sheva Hebrew site by clicking here.
