Angry Knesset Session Follows Temple Mount Closure

A stormy Knesset session took place Wednesday morning following the closure on Tuesday of the Temple Mount to all Jewish people on Tisha B'Av. Member of Knesset Yariv Levin (Likud - Yisrael Beitenu) criticized the fact that two MKs were among those locked out of the holy site on the national day of mourning for the Holy Temple. MK Moshe Feiglin (Likud - Yisrael Beitenu) also criticized the incident. He decried the fact that he has been personally banned from visiting the holy site since becoming a Knesset Member as he used to ascend every month.
