Inspectors Intercept 350 kg of PA Beef

A 30-year-old resident of the northern Israeli Arab city of Umm Al-Fahm was detained for questioning and 350 kilograms/770 pounds of beef from the Palestinian Authority were seized and destroyed, Monday, after inspectors from the Ministry of Agriculture saw the man try to deliver the meat to a number of butcher shops in his area.

The suspicion of the inspectors was raised when they saw the meat packed in cartons in the back part of the suspect's vehicle, which was not equipped with refrigeration. They followed him and stopped him for questioning when their suspicions were confirmed.
