Six masked youths, ranging in age from 17 to 19, were arrested, Sunday, in the Samarian (Shomron) Jewish community of Yitzhar on suspicion of throwing rocks at security personnel. The charges relate to a number of incidents.
The police say that on their way out of Yitzhar, they were hindered by a roadblock made out of stones and burning tires, as well as eight masked youths who threw rocks at them. Police say their vehicle was damaged. Following a chase on foot, police caught six of the youths. Half of them were from Jerusalem. The other three were from Yitzhar, the Binyamin-region community of Mitzpe Yericho and the Hevron-Hills community of Sussiya.
