Report: Morsi Investigated for Treason

Egyptian prosecutors have begun to investigate deposed president Mohammed Morsi on suspicion of a count of treason, according to the Times of London.

The charge could carry the death penalty. It relates to an investigation into his escape from prison in 2011, along with other members of the Muslim Brotherhood.
