ElBaradei Sworn in as Egypt's Vice President

The Office of the Presidency in Cairo announced, Sunday, that Mohamed ElBaradei has been sworn in as acting vice president of Egypt by Temporary President Adly Mansour.

The former head of the International Atomic Energy Agency was a special assistant to the foreign minister under President Anwar Sadat. During the regime of President Gamal Abdel Nasser, he was part of Egypt's missions to the United Nations in New York and Geneva.
