Amona Uprooting Delayed

The Supreme Court partially accepted, Friday, a request by the state, which resulted in another delay in the uprooting of the Binyamin-region Jewish community of Amona, next to Ofra. The request came in a petition by Arabs to remove the Jews based on ownership of the land on which the community was built.

The judges in the case decided to give community residents additional time to prove they have purchased the property. Buildings on property where there is no purchase claim will be uprooted in the next two weeks.
