Likud activists continued to criticize party chairman, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, over his last-minute cancellation of an appearance and address at Thursday's Likud convention in Tel Aviv.
Interviewed by Israel Defense Forces Radio, activist Shevach Stern said, "He does not want a movement that is alive and well, he does not want open dialog and he doesn't want them [the delegates - ed.] to talk about topics of interest to the Likud public." He added, "It's comfortable for him that the movement mobilizes for the general election and the public chants Bibi! Bibi!"
