The moderate camp on the Palestinian Authority street is losing power because of Chairman Mahmoud Abbas's lack of diplomatic gains according to a senior PA security source, cited Friday morning by Kol Yisrael government radio. He said the PA is losing justification for its existence every day because of Israeli policy and actions in the field.
The source said that in the past, the political horizon was the fuel for the PA's security establishment. Today, Abbas's instructions are the only impetus for continuing their activity but he does not know how long this can last. The source said frustration over the situation is growing among members of the security services.
