New Israeli Medical Device Can Monitor Patients Skulls

A new Israeli developed device could soon allow doctors to monitor a patients skull from the outside. HeadSense uses a device similar to ear-bud style headphones to monitor inside a person's head. This week the company announced it obtained funding from the United States to complete the development of the medical device. “Intracranial pressure is an important parameter for the diagnosis and monitoring of patients suffering from head trauma, strokes and other conditions," stated Guy Weinberg, the CEO of HeadSense.
