Driver, Vehicle Registration Beyond Authority Walls

Starting Monday, it is possible to print and pay for drivers licenses and vehicle registration without going to the licensing authority, thanks to the computerized Rishiomat system being activated at 44 branches of the Super-Pharm drugstore chain and shopping centers throughout the country. The move is designed to relieve congestion at licensing authority offices as well as within the offices, where terminals are also being activated.

The service will be available at least ten hours a day and around the clock in some cases. A ten-shekel fee is being charged for printing out reports on a vehicle's prior owners, as well as the number of points on a driver's license, but other services will cost no more than going to the license authority.
