Technical Malfunction Believed Behind F-16 Crash

An Air Force investigation into Sunday's crash of an F-16I fighter plane into the sea off the Gaza coast continued Monday morning. It is believed a technical malfunction caused one of the plane's engines to shut down during a training flight, forcing the two-member crew to bail out.

F-16s and F-15s with similar engines have been grounded, pending the results of the investigation.
