F-16I Crashes at Sea; Crew Rescued

An Israel Air Force F-16I "Storm" fighter jet crashed at sea, Sunday afternoon, after it lost power in one of its engines. The two-pilot crew abandoned the aircraft and was rescued by Air Force helicopters and were taken to hospital for physical examinations. Air Force Commander Amir Eshel ordered an investigation into the incident and the grounding of all "Storm" and "Thunder" planes pending the preliminary results of the probe into the circumstances.
