State Asks High Court for Gas Hearings by End of July

State attorneys told the Supreme Court, Thursday, that hearings on petitions against the export of 40 percent of Israel's natural gas must be held by the end of the month.

The state said the petitions should be rejected for lack of a reason for the court to be involved in a government decision. The attorneys added that the economy urgently needs gas stockpiles and every delay could cause large losses.
