Appeals C'tee: Beit Hamachpelah Purchase was Proper

A military appeals committee accepted, Monday morning, the appeal of the Jewish purchasers of Beit Hamachpelah in Hevron and ruled that the purchase was made according to law. The court also required the Attorney General's Office to pay the purchasers' court costs. Implementation of the decision requires the signature of Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon.

Former defense minister Ehud Barak had the purchasers removed from the building in April 2012 in spite of a request by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to let the judicial process play out.
