Tal Mor's Appeal in Death of Shneur Cheshin Denied

The Supreme Court denied, Monday morning, the appeal of Tal Mor, who was sentenced to 12 years in prison for the hit-and-run death of bicyclist Shneur Cheshin, son of former High Court Justice Mishael Cheshin and grandson of Supreme Court Justice Shneur Zalman Cheshin, after whom he was named.

The ruling read as follows: "The appellant took the life of a family man, husband, father of small children and a son who was dear to his parents. Furthermore, after the appellant ran over the deceased, he abandoned him to wallow in his blood while considering his one goal - to flee the scene and blur his involvement in running over the decease. It is not normative behavior."
