No Need to Continue Boiling Water in Menahamia

The Health Ministry announced, Monday morning, that residents of Menahamia did not need to boil tapwater intended for human consumption. The boiling had been ordered in the Jordan Valley community after testing of the water showed microbial contamination.

The Emek Hama'ayanot (Valley of the Springs) Regional Council recently installed a temporary disinfection facility in the community while planning a permanent chlorination facility to disinfect the water in light of repeated situations in which contamination dictates the boiling of the tapwater.
