Yechimovich: Hate Crime Makes Mockery of Rule of Law

Opposition Leader Shelly Yechimovich reacted, Monday morning, to vandalism in the predominantly Arab neighborhood of Beit Hanina in northern Jerusalem by saying, "The growing frequency of hate crimes bearing the name of price tag do not only harm the delicate fabric of Jewish-Arab relations in Israel and Israel's standing in the world, but are a blatant mockery and defiance of the rule of law in Israel."

The Labor Party Chairwoman added, "It is unthinkable that Israel, blessed as it is with intelligence and operational capabilities among the best and most sophisticated in the world, cannot manage to put its hand on a fringe extremist group which causes untold damage."
