The Consumer Price Index for May rose by 0.1%, the Central Bureau of Statistics reported on Friday. Since the beginning of the year, the CPI has risen by 0.5%.
Price increases were particularly noted in the following sections: fresh fruit 6.0%), culture and entertainment (1.0%), maintenance (0.9%), housing (0.3%) and health (0.3%).
Price decreases were noted in the following sections: fresh vegetables (4.4%), transport and communications (1.1%) and food (0.2%).
