Whoever Turns his Back on Temple Mount Waives Building

Member of Knesset Moshe Feiglin (Likud Beyteinu) responded, Monday, to a report that there were no new housing approvals in 2013 in the Jewish parts of what is called eastern  Jerusalem by saying, "What has been known for a long time was published today. On the orders of the prime minister, there are no building permits in Jerusalem."

Writing on his Facebook page, Feiglin suggested,  "To all the ostriches who are burying their heads in the sand about the ban the prime minister imposed on me from visiting the Temple Mount, I suggest starting to understand that this is an overall strategy of de facto conceding and handing over sovereignty in the city." Using the phrasing Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu used to Israel's enemies during his appearance before the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, Feiglin concluded, "Whoever turns his back on the Temple Mount, also waives construction in the city and ultimately the waiver of the heart brings about rot, missiles and the loss of sovereignty in Sderot and Tel Aviv."
