      Remand of Hadera Corruption Suspects Extended 8 Days

      The remand of three suspects in a corruption case in the northern city of Hadera was extended by eight days on Sunday.

      The brother of Mayor Haim Avitan and the manager of the municipality's economic company are suspected of taking bribes, fraud, and breach of trust, as well as money laundering and tax violations. The manager of the "Change" company is suspected of brokering bribes, money laundering and tax violations.
