Most of the indices on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange opened trading, Monday morning, with slight gains. About 75 minutes into the session, the TA Composite Index stood at 1,104.20, up .02 percent, while the TA 100 was unchanged at 1,102.12, including a drop of .05 percent by the TA 25 most-widely-invested issues. The stocks outside the TA 100 stood at 987.99, up .34 percent.
Leading the gainers was the biomed index, which rose six tenths of a percent to 872.73 while the rest of the technology issues slipped .04 percent to 320.18. The oil and natural-gas stocks stood at 1,158.18, up .56 percent, while the bank index advanced .22 percent to 1,174.08 as the financial institutions stood at 1,154.31, up .07 percent, reflecting a .41-percent decline to 1,416.55 by the insurance issues. The real-estate stocks stood at 362.37, up .21 percent, while the communications index gained .15 percent to 551.50.
