Police Order Closing of Hafetz Haim Water Park

The Israel Police ordered the closing of the hareidi-operated Hafetz Haim water park, Sunday, pending an investigation into a non-fatal drowning incident in the park's pool. A student from a Talmud Torah in Be'er Sheva' was pulled from the water in serious condition and after resuscitation efforts saved his life, he was taken to Kaplan Hospital in Rechovot.

The police said the order to close the pool could remain in effect beyond the investigation. Last summer, six teenage girls were injured when a ride at the park overturned.
