Neighbors discovered graffiti, Monday morning, on the door and the stairwell leading to the apartment of Peggy Cidor, one of the "Women of the Wall", a group of non-orthodox women who provoke orthodox worshipers at the Western Wall of the Temple in Jerusalem with their monthly observance of the new moon. Despite a district-court ruling and a one-time arrangement allowing them to hold services in the women's section of the Western Wall Plaza, the observance for the current Jewish month was disrupted by hareidi-religious worshipers.
One of the phrases sprayed on both the door and the wall was Tag Torah (Torah Tag), a play on the Price Tag vandalism that has appeared at Arab and leftist sites when Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria (Shomron) are either harmed or threatened. Another message proclaimed the holiness of Jerusalem, while another played on Peggy's name to say that her time was up (Peggy, Pag Tokefech). Jerusalem police are investigating.
