Deputy Rambam Hospital Director Yaron Bar-El Passes On

Deputy Haifa Rambam Hospital Director Prof. Yaron Bar-El passed away on Monday. He was 59.

Prof. Bar-El was a heart surgery specialist. He held his position for the last seven years. He also was a member of the Technion Medical School faculty, and was additionally involved in medical ethics and health systems administration.

"He was a dear and great man, a leader, a role-model, and most of all, our friend," reflected Prof Rafael Beyar, Rambam Hospital Director.
