About 500 people involved in the tourism industry demonstrated outside the Prime Minister's Office, Monday morning, in protest of the proposed imposition of value-added tax for services to international travellers.
A spokeswoman for the Hotel Association said the demonstrators represented travel agencies, car rental companies, taxis, bus companies, tourist attractions and airlines, in addition to hotels and hotel chains.
