The Comptroller Revealed the Truth on Ethiopian Aliyah

Doctor Avraham Negosa, who manages an organization of Ethiopian immigrants, welcomed a report, released Sunday by the State Comptroller's Office, that said the state has failed in the absorption of Ethiopian immigrants. Interviewed by Arutz Sheva's Hebrew service, he said the treatment of the Ethiopians was a matter of putting out fires instead of investing thorough and professional thought into the process, explaining, "They did not check to see if the programs were appropriate for immigrants with a different cultural and socio-economic background."

Dr. Negosa called on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to establish a special administration for Ethiopian immigrants, adding, "In fact, the Comptroller is revealing what we already know, that there's no coordination among the government offices regarding the immigrants and sometimes there are redundancies. There's no supervision, even if the money that was promised was used to advance the plight of the immigrants."
