Employment Offices to Re-open Sunday

Employment-Service workers announced, Friday, that they will go back on the job, Sunday, so as not to harm the job-seeking public on the eve of the Shavu'ot holiday. At the same time, they said they would return to organizational steps in a few days if there is no progress in negotiations.

Employment offices were closed the last two days in protest over renewal of the Wisconsin plan of work for welfare cases. Chairman Opher Levi of the workers' committee said, "The job-seeking public is dear to us and our struggle is for them."
