Boston Police Chief: FBI Didn't Warn About Terrorist

Boston’s police commissioner, Edward Davis, said on Thursday that the FBI did not tell the Boston police about the 2011 warning from Russia about Tamerlan Tsarnaev, one of the two brothers accused in the Boston Marathon bombings.

Speaking during the first public Congressional hearing on the terrorist attack, Davis indicated that even if Boston police had known about the suspicions and had launched an investigation, it is not certain that it would have been possible to thwart the attack.
