The Health Ministry reported, Tuesday, that there was an increase of incidents of whooping cough (pertussis) in 2012, the most significant increase being reported among infants less than a year old.
The ministry recommended that pregnant women go to its local immunization clinics to receive the Tap vaccine, which also protects against tetanus and diphtheria.
