The remand of two brothers who were arrested on Shabbat in the Samarian (Shomron) Jewish hilltop community of Sneh Ya'akov was extended, Sunday, until Tuesday, according to the Honenu legal-aid organization. The two are being held on suspicion of attacking a police officer and injuring Arabs during a clash that broke out after the Arabs, from the nearby Palestinian Authority village of Burin, set fire to a vineyard owned by a Sneh Ya'akov resident next to the adjacent Jewish community of Bracha.

Honenu said, "We are drawing a pattern of police activity in which every Arab attack ends in the arrest of Jews."
