5 Girls Stop Arab Traffic in Samaria in Protest

In response to the stabbing attack at the Tapuach junction in Samaria, five female minors stood in the middle of the street and prevented traffic from flowing. They were protesting the removal of security checkpoints in the region and the free flow of traffic from the Palestinian-Authority-assigned areas past Jewish communities.

Honenu reports all five were arrested by the Israeli police.  The incident occurred Tuesday afternoon at the Yitzhar junction.

The stabbing murder of the well-known local actor Evyatar "Napo" Borovsky has resulted in massive spontaneous protest. Several of the victim's friends were arrested for demonstrating earlier on Tuesday. An unconfirmed report has come in of isolated incidents where rocks were thrown at Arab vehicles.
