Meir Habib, the vice-president of CRIF said that the tabbing attack on a rabi and his son shoudl not be taken lightly. Habib spoek to Arutz Shva news about the incident that occurred Tuesday morning in Paris by a escaped mental patient.
"He may have been mentally ill but he first attacked a Jewish person," said Habib, who helps lad the Conseil Représentatif des Institutions Juives de France. "Had he stabbed thir throats 2 centimeters more it would have ended in death," he added.
"Thank G-d, they are out of danger," Habib said regarding the condition of the two. "We know the authorities are doing their best", said Habib, "but on the other hand they are trying to kill people because they are Jews. Anti-Semitism has increased about 60%. This concerns not only the Jewish community but to all of France."
