US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is expected to begin his week-long visit to the Middle East in Israel Sunday morning.
Hagel will meet President Peres, PM Netanyahu and DM Moshe Ya'alon. He will discuss the Iranian nuclear program and the crisis in Syria with the President.
