Two-Minute Siren Will be Sounded at 11:00

A two-minute siren will be sounded at 11:00 a.m. on Monday morning, marking the beginning of the memorial ceremonies in cemeteries across the country, in honor of Memorial Day for the IDF's Fallen Soldiers. The main ceremony will be held at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.

At 1:00 p.m., a memorial ceremony for victims of terror acts will be held at Mount Herzl.

The Ministry of Transportation, public transportation companies and Israel Railways will run special shuttle services to 17 cemeteries. Bereaved families are eligible for free travel on Memorial Day.
