Prayers for Rabbi Ya'akov Yoseph

Prayers on behalf of Rabbi Ya'akov Yoseph, the son of former Sephardic chief rabbi Ovadia Yoseph, were held, Friday morning, next to the tomb of Rabbi Chaim Yoseph David Azoulai (Hachida) in the Har Hamenuchot cemetery in the Giv'at Shaul section of Jerusalem. Leading the prayers was Rabbi Yehoshua Ben-Shoshan, an associate of the late former Sephardic chief rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu.

Rabbi Yoseph has been suffering from a serious illness for some time. People are asked to pray for Harav Ya'akov ben Margalit, among the ailing of Israel.
