Foreign Ministry: Israelis in Indian Bus Disaster?

At least 37 people were killed and 15 injured, Tuesday, when a bus on a route from Goa to Mumbai drove off a bridge in Ratnagiri District of the western Indian state of Maharashta, about 200 kilometers/125 miles south of Mumbai, according to police quoted by the British Broadcasting Corporation. The police say a preliminary investigation indicates the driver suddenly lost control of the bus.

Police confirmed the presence of a Russian passenger but no other foreign nationals. The Israeli Foreign Ministry is checking to see if Israelis were involved.
