Member of Knesset Yuli-Yoel Edelstein was chosen, Thursday afternoon, to be the Likud-Beyteinu faction's candidate for Knesset Speaker after former speaker Reuven Rivlin withdrew from the race.

Rivlin was the only person to abstain from the vote.
