Holland has announced a high terror alert across the country and in overseas Dutch targets. Amsterdam National Security Department says the alert is due to the fact that dozens of radical Islamist activists have recently traveled from Holland to Syria and the Middle East.

Holland also warns of a recent escalation of Dutch youth towards extremism.
