Although the final details have not been officially released, a compromise for the government coalition seems to have been reached. According to initial reports, the Bayit Yehudi [Jewish Home] party, led by newcomer Naftali Bennett, will receive the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor, the Religious Affairs Ministry, and the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs, the Ministry of Jerusalem Affairs, the Ministry of Housing and Construction, plus several deputy ministerial positions. Several of Bayit Yehudi's incoming Ministers will technically be from the National Union party which signed a deal to run in the elections on a joint list. The National Union and Bayit Yehudi's predecessor, the National Religious Party have often run together. Two such examples are veteran MK Uri Ariel of the NU, who is likely to become Minister of Housing, and MK Eliyahu Ben-Dahan who is likley to recieve the Religious Affairs portfolio.
