Authorities in Gemany and Turkey have discovered a network that transferred equipment from India to Iran's nuclear facility at Arak, according to a Tuesday-morning report by the Turkish newspaper Habertürk. The equipment is suspected of being used for development of a plutonium bomb.
The network consisted of hundreds of smugglers who worked through front companies in Istanbul. During the law enforcement operation, which included activity at seven different points, a Turkish citizen of Iranian origin was detained at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport.
