Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz said at a conference at IDC in Herziliya that "the chance of war in the foreseeable future is low, but the risk of deterioration is very high. Every week there is an event which has the possibility of ending in a different way and dragging the region towards an eruption."
