Secretary-General Yariv Oppenheimer of the leftist Peace Now organization said, Tuesday, that Rabbi Menachem Froman of the Judean community of Tekoa, who passed away Monday evening, was a "symbol of peace between Jews and Arabs. While the majority see religion as a pretext in the struggle between nations, Rabbi Froman proves that religion can be a bridge to peace and coexistence and not a tools to make conflicts bigger and radicalize positions."
Writing on his Facebook page, Oppenheimer claimed that the legacy of Rabbi Froman will go on, as he put it, until the day when the Arab-Israeli conflict ends.
