Jewish Home/Likud-Beytenu Unable to Reach Agreement

The meeting between Likud-Beytenu and the Jewish Home's coalition negotiation team ended just a short while ago and it appears that the parties were not able to reach an agreement.

The main dispute concerned the future role of Tzipi Livni in the government, and the issue of equal burden.

"As mentioned, the agreement signed with Livni is unacceptable to us," Jewish Home sources said after the meeting, adding, "there will be a continued discussion on equal burden."
