A Member of Knesset is suspected of having bought votes in his party’s primaries, Yediot Aharonot reported Monday morning.

Police reportedly have tapes obtained by a private investigator that show the MK paying people for bringing groups to vote for him. The MK is expected to be questioned by police in the upcoming days; in the meantime, his identity may not be made public.

The MK denies the accusations.
