A Syrian soccer player was killed Wednesday and several other others were injured in a mortar attack on the Tishrin stadium in Central Syria during a practice session of the Homs Al-Watba soccer team, reports official Syrian news agency.
Tuesday, rebel forces launched a mortar attack on the Presidential Tishrin palace in Damascus. There was minor structural damage, and there were no injuries. (Nana10)
