Jewish Home Chairman Naftali Bennett heard of his tentative meeting with the PM through the media, then turned down a ‘generous’ portfolio offer pending a coalition deal within 48 hours. The Jewish Home senses Likud-Beyteinu is only seeking ways to separate them from Yesh Atid so they can be ultimately left out of the government, and Bennett has agreed with Yair Lapid that they will join the coalition as a bloc or not at all, in an effort to prevent a  left wing coalition.
