Beitar Jerusalem Fans: No Muslims

Fans of the Beitar Jerusalem soccer team chanted against owner Arcadi Gayadamak during Saturday evening's game against Bnei Yehuda of Tel Aviv over Gaydamak's announced intention to make two Russians the first Muslims in the teams history.

The players are forwards Zaur Sadaev, scoreless in seven appearances, and Dzhabrail Kadaev, who has yet to play for Chechnyan side Terek Grozny, which is in fifth place in the Russian league. Beitar officials asked the fans to exercise restraint, noting that the players agreed to come to Beitar but the deal has not been closed yet.
