Tzipi Livni, head of the Hatnua party, met with hundreds of young people Tuesday evening in a pub in Modiin.
She denied rumors that she plans to leave politics if she does not receive a ministerial post. “I came back to politics to fight for you and for your future,” she declared. “Contrary to the political spin put out by a couple of sources, I’m here to stay.”
Livni previously left politics after losing the Kadima party primaries. She returned six months later to form Hatnua in advance of the elections.
