'Whoever Wants a Diplomatic Agreement Only Votes Livni'

Tzipi Livni's Hatenu'ah party launched a campaign, Monday, that claimed the former opposition leader is the only one to put an agreement with the Palestinian Authority at the head of the political agenda. The party called such an agreement essential to Israel's continued existence.

In launching the campaign, Livni said, "The diplomatic deadlock is leading Israel to a disaster with a specific date: the month of March, when a new international program is presented." She warned of unprecedented isolation as an alternative, claiming her approach to negotiations would revive relations with Turkey as well as international support from other quarters.
